Welcome to the Farm!
Take a look
outdoor recreational facility
Here at the farm, we believe in going outside to play & explore, growing & eating fresh food with no chemicals, strengthening family unity & promoting the awareness of our amazing natural resources.
Located near the very center of Ohio, the 20-acre farm is 4 miles off I-71 & SR 61 (exit 140) just outside of Marengo & 30 miles north of downtown Columbus. The farm is a seasonal business that operates around May 1 thru October 31 & offers primitive camping on weekends only.
We offer extra large camp sites for primitive camping (no hookups). We're happy to reserve specific sites too!
If you prefer the convenience of a fully furnished rustic country suite with a great view, we've got the place for you.
Perfect for a quick two-person getaway, rent out the Lofted Barn instead of raising a tent.
Go outside & play
Hike through 10 wooded acres, build a stick fort, explore the winding creek and vernal pools, go fishin', look for butterflies in the pollinator maze, take a stroll thru the prairie garden, look for tadpoles in the frog pool where you can make sidewalk chalk art and design fairy gardens or pitch some horseshoes.
Plant, pick and eat fresh food
Pick-your-own produce (seasonal) & cut your own flower bouquet for your picnic table. You can also plant your own food or help grow food for others.
Spend time with the whole family
Pack up for a mini vacation away from the fast-paced weekday life. Go primitive camping with your family, include your dog & cat & enjoy some relaxation, outdoor cooking & make your own fun.
See the nature, wildlife & stars
We share the land with wildlife. See the deer & turkey, maybe fox & mink, hoot with barred owls & hear the spring peepers & bullfrogs. The wildflowers are spectacular, especially in spring. Stargazing brings the Milky Way on very clear nights.
We'll be playin' in the dirt soon plantin' vegetables, cut flowers and milkweed this Spring.
Ready in mid summer!
